Guide to Post-Processing Transient Electromagnetic Simulation Result

1. Select Proper Simulation Results
   • Differentiate between Electromagnetic results and General results.
     • Electromagnetic results are for transient time series in electromagnetics.
     • General results are for post-processed or temperature results with average values.
2. Visualizing Transient Simulation Electromagnetic Results
   • Enable (by clicking on the eye icons) filters to visualize fields applied to different geometries.
3. Examples of Visualization
   • Visualize magnetic flux in the core: enable the filter with the Core name, and choose the field bt field to visualize magnetic flux in teslas.
   • Change visualized time: select time in the time toolbar from the dropdown or click play to see values as a video.
   • Click on the “Hover Cells ON” in the render toolbar, then hover over an element in the render to see field values.
4. Visualizing Magnetic Flux Value in Time
   • Use the “Plot selection over time” filter to display graphs for all fields stored in that element.
