Importing and Organizing CAD Files
- Accessing CAD Files
- Export 3D models from external software in STEP (STP) or IGES (IGS) formats.
- Navigate to TRAFOLO and click the Geometry tab to import one or multiple CAD files.
- Checking for Overlapping Geometries
- Enable transparency and adjust the background color for better visibility.
- Identify and address any overlapping geometries, such as solder and winding.
- Fusing Geometries
- Select parts of the same component (e.g., coil) and fuse them together.
- Ensure each coil consists of one geometrical object for proper terminal setup.
- Assigning Geometry Types
- Define the core, coil, and other component types.
- Exclude non-essential parts for electromagnetic simulations.
- Finalizing the Setup
- Click Apply to copy and set geometrical parts in the corresponding tabs.
